They tell us that
We lost our tails
Evolving up
From little snails
I say it’s all
Just wind in sails

Are we not MEN?

WE LOST OUR TAILS on Artsy

Molly Merson was born in Latvia to a family of art collectors and started her own collection of contemporary and modern art when she came to the United States over 25 years ago.  She opened her first gallery in Beacon, New York in 2001 and moved into Gallery Molly Krom on the LES in 2013.
She represents a tight international group of artists who are united by their aesthetic vision rather than their place in the art market.  Her favorite definition of what is art belongs to Ad Reinhardt who famously wrote: “Art is Art.  Everything else is everything else”.

Enrico Gomez is a painter and curator based in the New York City area. He received his BFA in Art with a concentration in drawing from Arizona State University, and has exhibited at various venues including Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, Summit, NJ, The Painting Center, New York, NY, Odetta Gallery Gallery, Brooklyn NY, Regina Rex, New York, NY, P.S.122 Gallery, New York, NY, and The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, New York, NY, and many others. He has been featured in various publications including The New Criterion, Hyperallergic, Art F City, The L Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine, and The New York Times. He was named by Brooklyn Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Brooklyn Culture”. Enrico Gomez is currently the Director of The Dorado Project; an independent curatorial and contemporary art compendium based in Hoboken, NJ.

Nick De Pirro is an artist and owner of PROTO Gallery, a contemporary art gallery located in the R. Neumann and Co. leather goods factory in Hoboken, which exhibits and represents emerging and mid-career artists in an exhibition program consisting almost exclusively of group shows assembled by the gallery, or by invited guest curators, featuring artists from the NYC region as well as artists from across the United States and as far as Japan and Australia. His company Project Studios has provided studio space and creative services for artists and small businesses for the past 10 years. He holds a BFA in fine arts from Indiana University and a MFA in sculpture from The Ohio State University. His work and gallery exhibitions have been featured and reviewed in The New York Times, Huffington Post, Hyperallergic, and a variety of local publications and blogs.
